Another monumental entry on my Life list can be ticked off soon, as I am curating my first exhibition.
It is every artists wish for their work to be seen in a gallery exhibition, so that alone would have been a dream for me, but to be able to manage the project of putting the whole thing together? is a lucid dream, by comparison.
The event is being held at NuDawn London, (Hackney) and is the same venue that hosts the NuDawn indoor market, every first Saturday of the month.
Kevin Jones is the venue manager and has been instrumental in making this happen. Thanks to Kevin, I have been able to bring together two other artists, whose work I have a lot of admiration for and who both have work ethics I really respect.
The title of the exhibition is Differentiate and is themed as such, but rather than works being created with that theme in mind, works have been compiled and created by each artist, which naturally highlights our styles and efforts we each make, even subconsciously, that differentiate us from each other. And everyone else.
Each Artist will be displaying a sizeable collection of work, and some never seen before pieces are guaranteed to make an appearance.
There are two pieces I have personally been showing development shots of online, which will form part of my collection on the night, they will not be seen until then. Also I will be selling my Original Art. Most friends and followers know that it is very rare for me to sell my original art, but I made the decision to sell some original art during the auction planned for the night. Proceeds of which will be donated to the RNIB and FightforSight charities.
This is looking to be a wonderful night. For anyone who has followed my journey or even liked one of my pictures, this is an opportunity to see some of, if not my best work to date, up close and personal, and you have the opportunity to see the work of two more unique and prolific artists.
Please email info@jonjudace.com or contact via any social media, to be added to the Guest list, which will guarantee entry.
And Remember to SAVE THE DATE - June 15th
