Mission

to share my Art and to change the world. .

About

As far back as I can remember I have loved to draw and I made the decision very early on, that I wanted to be an artist. I grew up in Brixton during the 80s and 90s, and growing up art was both my passion and an escape for me, something that allowed me to express how I felt without opening my mouth, and show others aspects of what I imagine.
I am self taught in the sense that I was not formally trained to draw and paint, my style grew organically as a result of both my strengths and weaknesses where art was concerned.

I work in all mediums, but I mainly focus on pen/ink, black and white line drawings. I have a great fondness for intricate detail and precision and these are characteristics that I have become known for. All my work is hand drawn but I might use digital colour or effects on occasions. The things that interest me personally and cause certain emotions within me, have an impact on my art. 'African & Japanese Culture', Cosmology and even Mathematics, feature heavily in the work I produce, but I sometimes create work that falls into none of the these categories as I love to experiment.

Art is one of the most important aspects of the human world, something to be cultivated, celebrated and preserved. I have fond memories of artwork I grew up with in the homes of family and friends, and I know first hand the impact that these images and the histories I imagined behind them, had on me. To be in a position where I can connect with the consciousness, and create new memories, for this and further generations, is both an honour and a privilege.
